This Privacy Policy explains how Fashion Show Directory (“we,” “us,” or “the Platform”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you browse the directory, create an account, submit a listing, buy a promotion, contact us, or otherwise use our services.

Stripe and PayPal process payment-card or account credentials. We do not intend to store full payment-card numbers. Their processing is governed by their own privacy notices.

  • Process purchases, prevent fraud and maintain transaction records.
  • Send service, review, deadline, safety and support communications.
  • Respond to rights requests, legal process and policy violations.

Legal bases for EEA/UK users

Where applicable, we process information to perform a contract, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests such as security and directory operations, or with consent. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, fraud-prevention, payment and professional-service providers; to organizers or the public when you submit information for publication; during a business transaction; or when required to protect rights, safety, users or the public. We do not claim to sell personal information for money. If our practices constitute “selling” or “sharing” under applicable law, eligible users may opt out.

Public listings

Published listing information is public and may be indexed, copied, archived or shared by others. Do not submit private addresses, identity documents, financial data, model measurements, sensitive personal information or information you lack authority to publish.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential technologies for authentication, security, checkout and preferences. If we add nonessential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide notices and choices required by applicable law. Browser controls may limit cookies but can impair features.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, dispute and fraud prevention, legal obligations and enforcement. Retention varies by record type. We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or an opt-out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. You may also appeal a denied request and lodge a complaint with a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Users under the age of legal majority should use the Platform only with a parent or guardian. Organizers must not publicly list minors’ contact details or sensitive information.

International transfers

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.
